The Eliminator series intakes is an open design with out our traditional Icebox Lid design giving you that a large volume air intake. Plus we teamed up with Green Filter USA to bring you their high flow Eco Green Oiled High Performance "Race Proven" Air Filters that filter down to 5 microns. High Performance Filter is IncludedThese Eco Green Air Filters are quality built with a stainless steel inner core mesh with a polished stainless end cap for a long lasting filter. In addition they use a unique process to mold their filters that gives you up to 25% more air flow through their interwoven cotton fabric. The 3 main benefits to woven cotten is that it is thinner, holds oil better, and is stronger. Since its thinner, it allows better air flow without sacrificing filtration. The cotton holds the oil more evenly, and the medium is much stronger. Unlike gauze, you cannot wear a hole in woven cotton by rubbing it, and there is no way small bits of cotton can rip off since its interlocked with another piece.
Additionally the Eco Green air filters come pre-treated with a specially formulated dirt trapping synthetic filter oil. This oil creates a positive magnetic charge, or ionic bond, with the filters stainless steel mesh. The positive charge attracts the negatively charged dust particles entering the filter, causing them to cling to the steel mesh and allowing the cotton to remain clear for maximum airflow. Plus the Green Filter oil, because it is a synthetic oil you will use only about 25% of what other filter oils require to recharge your filter. And it will not affect your Mass Air Flow Sensor.
